Details that define the finished deck ✏️
Every deck we build starts on paper. Layout, board direction, border patterns, step placement, and built-in features are all planned and measured before construction begins, because the details are what separate a basic platform from a finished outdoor space.
Border boards and inlays are a good example. Picture-frame borders around the edge, contrasting boards that outline sections, and geometric inlay patterns all need extra framing underneath to support the boards where they change direction. That blocking has to be planned before the joists go in. 📏
This deck brings several of those details together: contrasting inlays that break up a large surface, a built-in planter, wide steps down to the lawn, and a pergola with a retractable shade over the lounge area.
The right material makes those details last. TimberTech materials are often considered for decks that need a durable, lower-maintenance surface, and the range of colors makes contrasting borders and inlays easier to design.
Homeowners in Akron, Kenmore, and Ellet want decks where every line looks intentional. We plan every detail with you before the first board goes down. 🏡
