🐧🐧 It’s not often that Greg and Fred get a chance to stop long enough for a good bathroom selfie… 😂

🚽 But when they do, it’s usually because they’re in the middle of helping one another tackle a project for one of our amazing customers. Today’s adventure? Trimming out the inside of a skylight.

Also… somebody might want to remind Greg he’s installing skylight trim in Northeast Ohio not laying on a beach in Florida. And maybe a comb wouldn’t hurt either. 🤣☀️

One thing we’re seeing more and more across Northeast Ohio is this:

🐧 We have A LOT of homes in our area that were built during the late 90s and early 2000s housing boom. Thing is, the roofs are now reaching that 25+ year age.

As roofs age, underwriting guidelines and insurance coverage expectations can become more challenging during a real estate transaction, which naturally puts more focus on the condition of the roofing system.

That’s exactly why our “New Roof Included With Purchase” program has been such a huge success.

We’re thankful for the amazing real estate agents and insurance professionals in our area who understand the value it brings to both buyers and sellers.

This particular home became difficult because of the age and condition of the roof. Instead of letting it become a deal killer, everyone involved took a solution-oriented and consultative approach. Now the property is contingent, the buyer gets peace of mind, the seller keeps momentum, and the new homeowner gets to pick the roof color they actually want.

🥁 (Drum roll…) Sometimes the right roof doesn’t just protect a home…

This one was a LOT to bite off. 😅

🐧🐧🐧🐧 Multiple trades. Real estate deadlines. Coordination everywhere. One of those projects where everybody had to pull together to get it across the finish line.

But today… we wrap it up. 👏

Huge thanks to everyone involved for trusting us through the process. These types of projects can get stressful fast, but seeing it all come together and knowing the new buyer is going to walk into this home excited and confident makes it worth it.

That’s always the goal:
Solve problems. Communicate honestly. Help people move forward.

And we’re thankful we got the opportunity to do exactly that.
