🚒🚓 Three years of Touch a Truck, and this year we were able to give back in an even bigger way.

Last evening, our Touch a Truck Committee had the opportunity to attend Louisville City Council and present two $1,000 donations: one to the Louisville Fire Department and one to the Louisville Police Department.

This year, our committee doubled the amount raised through sponsorships and exceeded the goal we set for the event. Because of that success, we wanted to give a portion of those funds directly back to the departments and the brave men and women who serve our community every day.

Both Louisville Fire and Louisville Police have continued to support Touch a Truck and help make the event a success year after year, so it was an honor to be able to give something back. ❤️

We’ll also be presenting another $1,000 donation to Nimishillen Township Fire & EMS at a later date. 🚑

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who supported year three, and we’re already looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together next year.

Ben here — and I love getting to see this side of J&J.

One of my favorite parts of my job is watching our team celebrate each other’s wins.

When one of our techs goes above and beyond for a customer and that turns into a great review, we make a big deal about it. Not because it’s just another 5-star review, but because there’s a real person behind it who felt taken care of.

And what I really love is seeing how the rest of the team reacts.

They cheer each other on. They joke around. There’s definitely some friendly competition. But you can tell they genuinely want to see the guy or girl next to them win.

That’s hard to fake.

I get to see a lot behind the scenes here, and moments like this are probably my favorite.

Good people doing good work and being happy when somebody else gets recognized for it.

That’s a pretty cool team to be around.
