Before & After | A Complete Lakeside Transformation! 🌿

From weathered wood to a beautiful, modern outdoor retreat!

This lakefront renovation was about more than replacing an aging deck. We reimagined the outdoor living spaces with new decking, sleek black railings, and a beautifully updated stamped concrete patio.

The result? A seamless transition between the patio and decks, more functional space for entertaining, and unobstructed views of the lake.

We love how the updated materials complement the natural surroundings while giving this home a fresh, timeless look.

Same incredible views. A whole new way to enjoy them.

Another transformation by Atlas!

Same Lake Views. A Whole New Look. 🌿

What a difference a deck makes!

We transformed this lakefront home’s aging wood deck into a beautiful, expanded outdoor living space with clean lines, modern black railings, and plenty of room to relax and entertain.

The new design complements the home’s architecture while keeping those incredible waterfront views front and center.

Built for the view. Designed for living.

When comfort matters, natural wins. 🐾☀️

This photo says it all.

While many composite decks can become uncomfortably hot in direct sunlight, Thermowood® Nordic Pine stays noticeably cooler underfoot, making it a more comfortable surface for bare feet, paws, and everyday outdoor living.*

Unlike pressure-treated lumber, Thermowood is heat and steam modified—not chemically treated. That means:

* 🌲 No added chemical preservatives
* 🐶 More comfortable for pets lounging in the sun
* 👣 Easier on bare feet during summer
* 🌎 Made from sustainably sourced wood
* 💪 Greater dimensional stability with improved resistance to warping and movement

If your deck is a place where kids play and dogs spend their afternoons, the material you choose matters.

*Surface temperature depends on color, sun exposure, airflow, and surrounding conditions, but thermally modified wood is generally more comfortable in direct sun than many darker composite decking products.

Natural beauty. Natural comfort. Built to last. 🌲🐾

Behind every successful build is a set of plans covered in notes, revisions, and ideas.

We don’t just build—we plan, review, revise, and refine until every detail is right. The work we do before construction begins is what saves time, money, and costly surprises later.

Every detail matters, because great projects don’t happen by accident—they happen by design. 📐🏡

The difference between a good renovation and a great one isn’t just the labor—it’s all the decisions made before the first piece is installed.

Every project starts like this: samples spread across the floor, comparing textures, checking undertones in natural light, and making sure every material works together—not just on its own.

Stone. Wood. Metal. Paint. Tile.

Each choice affects the next, and when they’re selected intentionally, the finished space feels effortless.

At Atlas Design, we don’t just build projects—we design them. We spend the time upfront so that every detail works together, creating a home that still feels timeless years from now.

Because the details aren’t extra.

The details are the design.

👀 Can you guess what we’re building next?

When exceptional products arrive, you know something unique is about to begin, and this project is going to be one of our favorites yet.

When you start with premium materials, every detail matters.

We’ll be sharing the transformation from the very beginning—stay tuned.

From cool retro tile to warm Scandinavian oak vibes 🌿✨

This mid-century modern lake house got a major refresh with new wide plank flooring throughout — completely changing the feel of the space while keeping the original character intact.

The natural oak tones warmed up the turquoise cabinetry, tied into the lake views, and gave the whole home that relaxed modern lakehouse feel.

Sometimes the right flooring doesn’t just update a house… it transforms the entire atmosphere.

From worn and weathered… to welcoming and built to last.

This front porch got a complete rebuild with:
• New pressure-treated framing & decking
• Fresh black aluminum balusters for a clean modern contrast
• Wider, safer entry stairs
• Updated landscaping to finish the curb appeal

The goal was to keep the original character of the home while giving it a stronger structure, better functionality, and a fresh new look that fits the neighborhood perfectly.

Projects like this completely change the first impression of a home — and create a space the homeowners can actually enjoy every day.

Thinking about upgrading your porch, deck, or exterior this season? Atlas is now booking Summer/Fall 2026 projects.
