This lawn was disease ridden, w**d infested, insect damaged, and had a mix of grass species. The best solution was to remove all of the grass and start over. First we re-worked the irrigation system, extending & updating for optimal coverage. Drainage was installed, and the soil was graded to a smooth finish. Finally, my favorite - palisade zoysia grass was installed. This lawn is now on my pesticide maintenance program where I will maintain it’s perfection.

Here’s a recent front lawn before and after. Hello, My name is Doug Rachel, and I founded Greenhill Turf on the basis that I will provide golf course quality expertise and products for your lawn at home. I have over 12 years of experience in the professional turf industry, including 2 years as an assistant golf course superintendent at Sage Valley golf club. I have a degree in Turfgrass Sciences and Management from Penn State University. I would be very happy to provide my services to you, and bring your lawn to meet high expectations!

I currently offer w**d control, ant & grub control, disease control, soil testing and amendments in the form of chemical spray applications, and fertilizer applications. I also can perform irrigation auditing and repairs.
