Several members of the Advance Garden Club assisted residents at Bermuda Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation facility with a planting activity. The residents thoroughly enjoyed placing the plants in pots and admiring the beautiful finished product.

The Advance Garden Club keeps the Healing Garden Project at Novant Clemmons Medical Center going all year round. The chosen planting day for May was cool, and members got to work in the garden with trowels, gloves, trash bags, and buckets. The old plants were removed, and fresh potting soil and pretty seasonal flowers were added. It was a great team effort, and everyone is excited to see the garden grow and thrive for the patients, family visitors, and staff to enjoy.

On Tuesday, May 12th, members of the Advance Garden Club took a guided tour of the High Point University Gardens. The tour included a half-mile walk through five or six distinct gardens and the tropical conservatory. The perfect weather made for a delightful garden outing, and the attendees enjoyed the beautiful gardens. https://www.highpoint.edu/gardens/
