Temple Israel Tulsa's mass timber portion was officially put in the air last month!
Our crew wrapped up the preparation and installation of 10 massive glulam columns and 5 heavy-duty glulam purlins last month. We are talking serious weight here—each column came in around 2,800 lbs, and those purlins weighed an incredible 8,200 lbs apiece!
That is almost 70,000 pounds of engineered wood flying safely into place, in one day, thanks to precision teamwork, sharp rigging, and flawless ex*****on. Huge shout out to the team on the ground. Cornerstone Timberframes' designers and shop for making this heavy lift look easy to the curious crowd that gathered to watch this install.
The sustainable backbone of this structure is set. On to the next phase!

While the installation phase is often the shortest part of the build, its speed is a direct result of meticulous pre-construction planning. By precision-engineering every joint and panel in a controlled factory environment, we reduce on-site labor. The result? A structure that goes from 1st floor deck to a shell, ready to be dried-in, in 2 weeks.

Another timber raising on a beautiful lake setting in Wisconsin! The pine timbers were created by Cornerstone Timberframes and Anderson & Hammack is the GC. Had a blast working and sharing stories with the A&H crew plus Chris of Hanson Woodworks. Thanks to all involved on this project!
