This is another project in Cedar Falls. We replaced two of the three roofs of this tri-plex and were able to very closely match the roof that was not being replaced. We also removed and installed 4 Velux Skylights on the roofs. The new shingles are Owens Corning Duration Brownwood. Good earthy color brings out the brickwork.

Our last couple projects have taken us to the Cedar Valley. I graduated from UNI awhile back, so going back to Cedar Falls has always felt like home. We worked with these two duplex owners and installed Owens Corning Duration Driftwood. It was a great update!

We traveled to Steamboat Rock to do this project for a great friend. It is his mother’s home where we removed the old shingles and installed Owens Corning Brownwood shingles. The new roof installation was followed by all new gutters and downspouts. It’s all good to go for another 30 years! I should note that it’s near a good fishing hole we like to frequent and are grateful for. Couldn’t pass that up! 😁

Check out our latest project in Adel, where we revamped a historic home built in the late 1800s. We replaced old brick flashings with new step flashing and custom-bent counter flashings to protect the roof-to-wall transitions. The result is a stunning, watertight finish. The homeowners selected Owens Corning Onyx Black, and it's the perfect choice. At James Roofing, we're passionate about bringing new life to older homes, and this project is no exception.

We recently upgraded this Adel home's roof, removing the old brick chimney to eliminate the need for regular roof tar application. We collaborated with Home Run Plumbing on the new double-walled pipe installation. A chimney cricket was also built to prevent water from pooling behind the remaining chimney stack. The Owens Corning Brownwood shingles look great, and we installed new gutters and downspouts, including hanging and screening some sections. In the front, we utilized a rigid Rx topper, and the final result is fantastic!

We're proud to share this amazing transformation in DSM's Easter Lake area. This home received a top-to-bottom exterior renovation, featuring new siding, fascia, soffits, gutters, downspouts, and two new front doors. The homeowner is ecstatic, and we're thrilled to have made such a great impression on the neighborhood.
