E(voltage)=I(amps)×R(resistance) The only thing that limits the current at a given voltage is the resitance of the contact point of your skin and the resistance of your body. That's why pools and water bodies can be so dangerous, the entire body submerged in water is one giant contact point which greatly reduces the resistance (the denominator) compared to just your finger tip touching somthing. Don't play with electricity and make sure your pool ground bonding is intact when you open them up this spring. Also test your GFCI receptacles both in the house and outside frequently.

Another great day volunteering at habitat for humanity on this awesome project! Final electrical inspections complete on two new Habitat for Humanity homes and rough inspection complete on two others out of a total of six new homes. Over the years RAM Electrical Services, LLC. has donated 100% of our labor to wire approximately 15 homes in the Pittsfield area. The long term benefit to the family's that buy these homes and future of the children is immeasurable. ❤

If you ever see a line down stay away from it, do not drive over it. Even though it’s on the ground there’s a good chance it’s still live. This little branch eventually took down a 23,000 volt line and was live for an hour on the ground!
