We wish you stayed
Today we remember Firefighter Albert “Albie” Mallen—a brother, a friend, and a dedicated firefighter whose impact continues to be felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Albie wasn’t just respected for his commitment to the job—he was known for his charm, humor, and quick wit. Even today, those stories are still shared throughout Atlantic City firehouses, bringing smiles and reminding us of the kind of person he was. His personality left as much of an impression as his dedication to the fire service.
Although he’s no longer with us, Albie’s legacy lives on through the memories we share, the laughter he inspired, and the brotherhood he helped strengthen. He will always be remembered with respect, gratitude, and pride.
Gone, but never forgotten.
