As we prepare for the upcoming heating season, we want to address the recent increase in heating oil prices and the concerns it may be creating for you and your family.
Energy markets have been highly volatile in recent weeks. International conflicts, including the situation involving Iran, have created uncertainty throughout the global oil market. When crude oil and wholesale fuel costs rise, those increases affect every part of the supply chain, including the fuel we purchase and the cost of delivering it safely and reliably to your home.
As a family company, we understand the pressure rising costs put on household budgets because we feel that same pressure in our own homes and throughout our business. Higher heating oil prices don't mean greater profits for us. Rapid price increases make it more expensive to purchase fuel, operate our trucks, and continue providing the dependable service our customers count on.
