Long time ⌛️ no post pictures of 6 month restoration job coming soon as it's been one lengthy battle on a massive home were every single piece of this home got reworked revived every square inch done by brush work ethic is a labor of pain staking task. Now I can finally finish the Cromwell homestead and rest, pictures to come ps this home was painted last season by way of airless an entire body paint job failed threw a full season cycle. Painting everything by hand is alot slower than sprayed on latex an will.last years longer. We have been restoring historical homes. Since 2008 . Myself am a different style home painter be it exterior or interior. Great pride is taken in every restoration and its beyond time consuming. But after it's all said an done what once was alligator peel wood siding. Window frames you name it. It's brought back to its original look an appeal. Bringing up the homes value. An insuring every inch of the home has been gone over. The weather is definitely not appealing. I'd like to go spray yes spray a clients home from last season. I worked on were they had 75 percent of concrete board replaced. So now the home looks beautiful. Can't wait to knock it out. Enjoy the video. Yes I was moody .. thanks all

Slow motion and I'm in no rush . Weather isn't the best. Hasn't been the best to start laying paint I so this home is historical and almost two hundred years old original wood etc. What I'm doing is alot of carbite work fixing an replacing alot of wood to ensure paint will adhere. Fixing columns they will be taken down to bare wood. Columns will need new base footings witch I'll design by hand after a good sanding . Wood hardener has been applied. Alot of meticulous work will be done. I've gave it a good acid wash yesterday so painting can begin soon windows have been glazed. I)l let pictures speak for themselves. Homes been painted several times by other painters just for it to fail peal and paint curl . It won't after I'm done.

Sorry folks I forget to post . Home is done awhile ago. It's beyond beautiful the paint is very strong. Before I post pictures. Let me break down multapply paint. So this water born high acrylic high resign latex paint. Is 90 percent not I repeat not brush on friendly. The coverage is not 1 or 2 an done for a nice level finish an thick coat. If your brushing. This paint on your in for a hell of a job and sore shoulders. Normally you can put a coat down reach in your bucket and repeat. Not with this paint it separates leaves separateration lines. Always. Once the base color tones out from curing you will see your backing primer . This job took me quite sometime to complete considering. The paint it took to properly cover work Into the deep brick pits an pockets . All in all after 8 solid coats to fill in pockets gaps and brick faces design. It turned out beautiful an very durable. I need to run back an keep adding more of the water born paint white to the decorative hand rails. I've dab " brushed" sprayed , there something on the rails causing the paint to fish eye an pull apart from itself. So I'm gonna hit it with a etching primer instead of a bonding primer. It will take about 30 minutes to etch the rails and that should stop the water born paint from separating. These clients are some of the best people that I've ever had the pleasure of working for. Very good an understanding people. Well enjoy the pictures. This paint wont need to be done agin for at least 25 years.

I've put in so much time an effort in this home. Alot needed to be addressed. An I decided to take on that task. I could of been done some time ago. Agin this brick home don't have . What most brick homes use. It's taking alot more work thin I would of ever thought to get proper coverage. Get the water born high acrylic enamel resign paint to adhere to the surface for proper coverage. When I say alot of paint I truly mean alot. But I'm very satisfied with the results and coverage of how the paint has built a extreme hard bond. This home will not need paint I guarantee for about 30 years. Every single window. Has been pulled apart after breaking down the old caulking bond that was weathered an tired. I put insulation in every gap. Thin used a rubber caulking to seal up any gaps. The 2 part epoxy made every frame solid agin. So now I've got 2 days of work left in total before the garage is done. If you go back an look an before an now you will see doing things right going out of your way for busy clients will make for a beautiful home. Enjoy.
