Let's talk about risers.

If your septic tank lids are still buried underground, consider installing risers. Risers replace the buried concrete lids and extend access to ground level, making your septic tank much easier to access.

If your tank ever needs service or becomes plugged, the surface-level lids allow quick access without the hassle of digging. They also make routine septic pumping much easier, eliminating the need to dig up your yard—or pay someone else to do it—every time your tank needs to be serviced.

All new septic systems are installed with risers, but many older systems still have buried lids.

You can purchase the risers and supplies from us and install them yourself, or have one of our experienced technicians install them for you.

Help maintain your septic system by:

Spread laundry over the week, fix leaks, make sure toilets aren’t constantly running.

Excess flow can overload your drainfield.

It is recommended that you schedule a pump-out every 3-5 years for a typical household; more often if you have a
small tank, a lot of occupants, or high water use. It is recommended to not use garbage disposals.

When having a pumping a good pumper will check your baffles, clean your filter (if you have one) and check for any
problems you may have.

Filters should be cleaned by occupants atleast once a year to prevent clogs.
