MEM Staff participated in another ‘Toolbox Talk’ meeting this morning. Today’s topic: Carelessness. As always, MEM Contracting strives for excellence, and our Safety/Quality Control Officers are always trying to find new ways to improve our quality of work.

While we didn’t have any awards to distribute today, we did a drawing for some prizes. Two employees, Sam and Ted, both won gift cards, congrats guys!

This afternoon is the MEM Contracting Crab Feast. Check back soon for pictures and updates from this fun summer event.

MEM Contracting held one of their regular Toolbox Talks this morning, led by our Quality Control/Safety Officers. Today’s meeting topic is super relevant with the quickly approaching summer season: Heat Exhaustion/Heat Related Illness.

After the meeting, MEM celebrated the awesome job our employees have been doing, by giving out some “Atta-boy Gifts”. Congratulations to the following employees:

Colin – for his hard work completing the fire alarm down in Edgewood

Chad – for his hard work completing a job at Bldg. 6007

Nate – for his hard work completing all three of the PP VA jobs

This week MEM Contracting donated 100 box lunches to the staff at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center. A big thank you to Simply Savory Catering and Image 360, for helping us accomplish this task and creating executive box lunches that included a gourmet sandwich, chips, fruit cup and brownie (Yum!).
