直方設計有限公司成立於 2008年9月。取自易經坤卦的「直 方」有順應自然的特點，強調變化、包容、不拘一格的特質。直方設計深信設計是動態並具有策略性的，將限制或問題點轉化為機會而非先尋求解決，才能擴展設計的無限可能性。直方設計致力發掘每一設計案背後潛藏的隱性秩序— 破除表面形式和裝飾，回歸生活本質的深沉真實，並將物件之於所處時空與土地文化的真實美感經由系統化的連結與表達，突破原有局限並賦予創新面貌。
創辦人Michael Yeh結合在美國紐約的專業素養及對台灣這塊土地的熱情，希望以設計創造生活的美好、探索台灣本土文化記憶、追尋環保設計新方向！
