MAUD was founded in 2014, employing a team of 25 forward-thinking architects, visionary urbanists, and environmental technologists. The firm is spearheaded by British-educated, Taiwanese-born Managing Director, Max Chimin Yang. What do we do:

MAUD offer services and extensive expertise in our capacity of master-planning for the future, architectural, landscape and interior design, corporate branding, and furniture design. We aim to challenge the existing principles of modern architecture and build for the 21st century. Where we operate:

建築 B｜垂直格柵量體
為大型廠房建立輕盈而連續的尺度

同屬 NCIP Warehouse 專案，已完工的建築 B 位於另一塊獨立基地。相較於建築 A 鮮明的折線框架，建築 B 以連續的白色垂直格柵包覆上層量體，將長向立面分解為細緻而規律的序列，回應較大尺度的建築量體與基地界面。

格柵隨建築轉角延伸，使面向不同道路的立面維持一致語彙。黑色垂直量體標示交通核心，金色鋁板則集中於入口及裝卸區雨棚，在黑、白、灰的立面構成中建立清楚焦點，也讓人員入口與物流作業空間更容易辨識。

穿孔鋼板格柵兼顧遮陽、通風與視覺通透性，並透過模矩化構件整合辦公、倉儲與生產空間。兩塊基地採取不同的造型策略，在材料、色彩與比例上彼此呼應，共同建立 NCIP Warehouse 完整而一致的園區形象。

Building B｜Vertical Screen Facade
A Lighter and More Continuous Scale for the Completed Warehouse

Building B is located on a separate site within the NCIP Warehouse development. While Building A is characterized by its folded frames, the completed Building B uses continuous white vertical screens to wrap the upper volumes and divide its long elevations into a refined architectural rhythm.

The screens extend around the building corners, creating a consistent facade identity along different street frontages. Dark vertical volumes mark the circulation cores, while golden aluminium canopies highlight the entrances and loading areas within the black, white and grey composition.

Perforated steel screens provide shading, ventilation and visual permeability. Their modular arrangement brings the office, warehouse and production areas together within a clear architectural order. Through different formal approaches and a shared material language, the two buildings establish a coordinated identity across their respective sites.

從機能、動線、公共空間到分期安排，越早理清彼此的關係，越能減少後續調整，並為市場變化保留彈性。

我們認為總體規劃不一定要預先決定所有答案，更重要的是建立一個有調整空間的架構，讓每一期的投入，都能為下一階段創造更好的條件，每一棟建築才能共同形成一個長期運作、持續發展的整體。

Aligning program, circulation, public space, and phasing early can reduce future adjustments while preserving flexibility as market conditions change.

Master planning is not about deciding everything in advance. It is about creating an adaptable framework in which each phase strengthens the next, allowing the development to function and evolve as a coherent whole.

建築 A｜金色折線框景
以重複構架建立鮮明的建築識別

NCIP Warehouse 由兩塊不同基地構成，MAUD 依據各自的基地條件、建築量體與使用需求，發展出兩套相互呼應的立面語彙。已完工的建築 A，以金色折線框架勾勒屋頂與入口輪廓，將基地內多組廠房單元整合為連續而富有節奏的建築序列。

框架沿立面反覆展開，配合中央挑高開口與大面玻璃，使各單元保有清楚辨識，也共同形成完整的園區形象。深色金屬浪板、淺灰立面與黑色窗框建立沉穩基調，金色鋁板集中於屋簷、雨槽及懸挑構件，在日照變化下強化建築輪廓與立面層次。

模矩化的分割回應廠房的施工與營運需求，深窗、懸挑及遮蔽空間則減少熱帶氣候對室內環境與日常作業的影響，使建築識別、氣候回應與營運效率落實於完工成果之中。

Building A｜Golden Folded Frames
A Distinctive Architectural Rhythm for the Completed Warehouse

NCIP Warehouse occupies two separate sites within the same development. In response to their individual site conditions, building volumes and operational needs, MAUD developed two related yet distinct facade identities.

The completed Building A is defined by golden folded frames that outline the roof and entrances, bringing multiple warehouse units together as a continuous architectural composition. Double-height openings and expansive glazing give each unit a recognizable presence while maintaining a unified identity across the site.

Dark corrugated metal cladding, light grey walls and black window frames create a restrained base, while golden aluminium panels highlight the eaves, gutters and cantilevered elements. Modular facade divisions support efficient construction and operation, while recessed glazing and sheltered spaces respond to Malaysia's tropical climate.

以規律構件建立園區秩序

D 型立面以深灰色垂直構件劃分建築量體，搭配淺藍牆面、深色玻璃與細長窗框，形成向上延伸的立面節奏。構件沿街廓連續排列，使各棟廠房保有獨立入口與清楚辨識，也建立整體一致的園區形象。

垂直構件與深窗框增加立面層次，並為辦公空間提供適度遮陽，減少熱帶氣候下的直接日照。簡潔的色彩與規律比例，讓廠房呈現理性、穩定的專業形象，呼應智能科技產業對精準與效率的追求。

Type D｜Vertical Rhythmic Facade
A Unified Architectural Rhythm Along the Streetscape

Type D uses dark grey vertical elements to define the building volumes, paired with light blue wall panels, dark glazing, and slender window frames to create a strong upward rhythm. Repeated along the streetscape, these elements give each factory a clearly defined entrance and identity while establishing a cohesive image across the industrial park.

The vertical elements and recessed window frames add depth to the facade while providing shade for the office spaces and reducing direct solar exposure in the tropical climate. Its restrained palette and measured proportions convey a precise and professional character, reflecting the efficiency and discipline of the smart technology sector.

垂直序列，建立廠房識別

C 型立面以青藍色矩形框架標示二樓辦公空間，搭配規律排列的垂直構件，在灰白建築量體中形成鮮明焦點。框架向外突出，增加立面深度，也為大面窗帶提供遮陽，降低熱帶氣候下的日照影響。

白色水平線條串聯屋頂、樓層與入口，深色玻璃則強化辦公區的視覺層次。當相同設計沿園區街廓連續展開，青藍框景便成為辨識各棟廠辦的共同語彙，在整體秩序中保留清楚而一致的建築形象。

Type C Façade Design｜Turquoise Frames
Vertical Rhythm Defines the Industrial Identity
The Type C façade features turquoise rectangular frames highlighting the upper-level offices. Paired with evenly spaced vertical fins, they create a distinctive focal point against the grey-and-white building mass. Projecting outward, the frames add depth while shading the expansive windows and reducing direct solar exposure in the tropical climate.
White horizontal lines connect the roof, floor levels, and entrances, while dark glazing adds visual depth to the office areas. Repeated along the industrial park’s streetscape, the turquoise frames form a shared architectural language, giving each factory-office building a clear and consistent identity within the overall composition.

以錯位構圖強化入口識別

B 型立面以醒目的紅色量體框架勾勒上層辦公空間，透過水平延伸與錯位構圖，形成鮮明的入口意象。深色玻璃、垂直構件與白色量體相互穿插，在簡潔的立面中建立清晰層次。
紅色框架向外延伸形成遮蔽，降低強烈日照與雨水對辦公空間及入口區域的影響，下方則保留開放的作業空間，配合車行與卸貨動線，支援日常營運。鮮明色彩進一步強化建築在園區中的辨識度，傳達科技產業的效率、活力與專業形象。

Type B｜Red Volumetric Frame
A Dynamic Composition for a Distinctive Entrance
Type B features a vivid red volumetric frame defining the upper-level office space. Its horizontal extension and offset composition create a distinctive entrance, while dark glazing, vertical elements, and white volumes establish clear layers across the facade.
The projecting frame provides additional shelter, reducing the impact of intense sunlight and heavy rainfall on the office and entrance areas. The open workspace below supports vehicle access and loading operations, helping maintain an efficient daily workflow. As a strong visual accent, the red frame strengthens the building’s identity within the industrial park while expressing the efficiency, energy, and professional character of the technology sector.
