EDA Insight｜設計，不只有一種尺度

從一個空間、一棟建築，到一整片基地，設計面對的尺度不同，思考的方式卻始終相通。

當尺度從建築放大到整體基地，我們關注的不再只是單一建築本身，而是地形、水系、道路、建築群、景觀與不同機能之間，如何建立合理的關係。

總體規劃不是把建築放進基地裡，而是先建立整體的秩序。

哪裡適合發展、哪裡應該保留；人與車如何進入、移動與停留；不同機能如何彼此連結，同時回應原有的自然環境——這些選擇，共同決定了一片土地未來的樣子。

對 EDA 來說，無論是一個室內空間，還是一整片基地，我們思考的始終是空間、人與環境之間的關係。

尺度可以改變，設計思考不變。

EDA Insight｜Design Has More Than One Scale

From a single space and a building to an entire site, the scale may change, but the way we think about design remains connected.

When design expands from architecture to master planning, the focus is no longer on a single building. It becomes about creating relationships between topography, water systems, circulation, building clusters, landscape, and different programs.

Master planning is not simply about placing buildings on a site. It is about establishing an overall order.

Where should development happen, and what should remain untouched? How do people and vehicles enter, move, and stay? How can different functions connect while responding to the existing environment?

These decisions collectively shape the future of a place.

At EDA, whether we are designing an interior or planning an entire site, our focus remains the relationship between space, people, and the environment.

The scale may change. The way we think about design does not.

EDA Lab｜當 AI 進入建築設計流程

AI 正在改變我們表達設計的方式。

這次緬甸仰光的住宅設計，目前仍處於設計發展階段。我們從初步建築模型出發，透過 AI 協助探索材質、光影、景觀與環境氛圍，讓尚未完成的設計，更快速地轉化成接近真實空間的視覺想像。

這些影像並不是最終定案，而是設計過程中的階段性成果。

透過 AI，我們可以更直觀地檢視建築的比例、材質與環境關係，在設計尚未完全定型之前，不斷比較、驗證與調整不同的可能性。

對我們來說，AI 並不是替代設計。

真正重要的，依然是建築本身的尺度、比例、空間與環境關係；AI 則成為設計過程中的另一種工具，幫助我們更快看見想法，也更快發現需要調整的地方。

設計決定方向，AI 讓想像更快被看見。

本案目前仍處於設計發展階段，圖像為過程稿，非最終設計成果。

EDA Lab｜When AI Enters the Architectural Design Process

AI is changing the way we visualize and communicate design.

This residential project in Yangon, Myanmar, is currently still under development. Starting from an early architectural model, we used AI to explore materials, lighting, landscape, and atmosphere—allowing an unfinished design to be visualized in a more realistic way.

These images are not the final design, but part of an ongoing design process.

AI allows us to examine proportions, materials, and the relationship between architecture and its surroundings more intuitively, helping us compare, evaluate, and refine different possibilities before the design is finalized.

For us, AI does not replace design.

The fundamentals remain the same: scale, proportion, space, and the relationship between architecture and its environment. AI simply becomes another tool in the design process—helping us see ideas sooner and identify what still needs to evolve.

Design sets the direction. AI makes the vision visible sooner.

This project is currently under design development. The images shown are work-in-progress studies and do not represent the final design.

這次我們從原始格局開始，重新整理空間的動線、採光、收納與機能關係，讓客廳、餐廳與廚房形成更完整的公共空間，同時重新安排工作區與房間配置。

當平面的秩序被重新建立，後面的材質、色彩與立面設計，才有真正發揮的空間。

從原始格局、平面規劃，到設計模擬與最後完工——

空間最後呈現的樣子，其實早在平面階段就已經開始了。

EDA Insight｜Good Design Starts with the Plan

When designing a space, we don't begin by deciding how it should look. We begin by thinking about how it should work.

For this project, we started with the original layout and reorganized the circulation, natural light, storage, and spatial functions. The living, dining, and kitchen areas were reconnected into a more coherent shared space, while the workspace and bedrooms were carefully reconfigured.

Once the spatial order is established, materials, colors, and details can truly begin to take shape.

The finished space begins long before construction. It begins with the plan.

/Costco好市多紅酒展櫃設計製作

時間有限，不代表設計必須妥協。

這次，我們在 10 天 內完成三組好市多展場酒櫃，從設計、製作到物流，全程由 EDA 統籌執行。

設計上，我們跳脫傳統紅酒展櫃以木質箱體堆疊的語彙，改以深色材質結合金屬細節，打造兼具高級感與酒吧氛圍的展示空間，讓品牌形象與商品質感同步提升。

在每一個緊湊的時程背後，是精準的規劃與嚴格的進度控管。即使只有 10 天，我們依然堅持設計品質，最終如期完成交付。

設計，是創意；落地，是實力。

Limited time doesn't mean compromising on design.

In just 10 days, we completed the design and production of three w**e display cabinets for Costco exhibition spaces, managing every stage—from concept development and fabrication to logistics.

Rather than following the conventional wooden display format, we reimagined the design with a refined palette of dark finishes and metallic accents, creating a sophisticated display that captures the atmosphere of a premium w**e bar while elevating both the products and the brand image.

Behind the tight schedule was meticulous planning and precise project management. Despite the challenging timeline, we remained committed to design quality and delivered every display on schedule.

Design is creativity. Ex*****on is excellence.

/蘇州金鷹國際購物中心沿街商業快速設計

商業空間的價值，不只是販售商品，更是創造一種生活體驗。
這次我們以"非標商業（Non-standard Commercial）"的思維，利用AI重新梳理金鷹廣場的沿街商鋪。透過不同店鋪的建築語彙、景觀綠化與燈光氛圍，打造富有層次的街區景觀，讓每一家店都擁有獨特個性，同時形成完整的商業聚落。
我們希望，人們來到這裡，不只是消費，而是願意停留、探索，感受街道與生活交織出的獨特魅力。

The value of a commercial space lies not only in selling products, but in creating a lifestyle experience.
In this proposal, we reimagined the street-front retail of Jinying Plaza through the concept of Non-standard Commercial, using AI as a design exploration tool. By introducing diverse architectural expressions, layered landscaping, and carefully curated lighting, we created a vibrant streetscape where each storefront has its own identity while contributing to a cohesive commercial community.
Our goal is to create a place where people do more than shop—they linger, explore, and experience the unique charm created by the interaction between the street and everyday life.

站在這個空間裡，更深刻體會到：好的建築，不是透過堆砌元素創造感動，而是懂得留白，讓光、時間與人的感受共同完成設計。

每一次旅行，都是一次設計的充電。每一次走進經典建築，都提醒著我們設計的初心。

/台北中山區老屋改造設計

台北市40～50年的老屋，多半有著狹長且制式的平面結構。
如何在有限的尺度中，精準整合居住需求、動線與採光，成為這次設計的核心課題。

透過高效的平面配置與光線控制，重新梳理空間節奏，
並以優雅、簡潔俐落的立面語彙作為延伸，
讓老屋不只是翻新，而是真正被重新定義。

即使是歲月留下痕跡的空間，
依然能被改造成兼具質感與溫度的理想居所。

Many 40–50 year-old apartments in Taipei are characterized by long and narrow layouts.
How to efficiently integrate the client’s needs, circulation, and natural lighting within a limited spatial framework became the core objective of this project.

Through strategic space planning and careful daylight control,
the interior was restructured with a refined sense of rhythm and openness,
while elegant and clean architectural language was introduced to redefine the overall character of the home.

Even an aging residence can be transformed into a living environment filled with warmth, clarity, and contemporary quality.
