Threading is a way of removing hair (for eyebrows and other parts of the face) using thread as opposed to wax, tweezers and alike. It is an old Asian beauty treatment done a lot in Indian communities and is now being discovered by the mainstream. Its is done using a pure, thin, twisted cotton thread which is usually rolled over untidy eyebrows, moustaches,forehead and other areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line. Because a large area of hair is removed at once.
