Completed that last CCTV Solution.
- Issue came down to the client wanting to reuse some older analog cams from a family upgraded system along with new cams for the DVR.
- Long story short some encoding and megapixels incompatibilities led to client having to purchase new cameras.

- In the end setup completed to scope and specifications, had some other cool techie stuff we got to do with this setup that due to security and discretion I can't show, but I enjoyed implementing them.

Day 2, Cable pulls complete, inside terminations proving to be a bit tricky, due to positioning of cabinet and power supply.

"interesting" found out the client did not purchase new cameras, but a mix of cameras from a family system upgrade.
YAY me.

3rd day is required for cam mounting, completion of end to end termination, testing and adjustment and of course water sealing.

10 Analog System day 1.
Client built the complete system over a couple months piece by piece.

Site visit was done, list of required equipment was given and client got it, called us in for ex*****on.

One piece of tech whichever client bought, I have never used in prod before, given the setup settled on here, I would like to see how well it functions.

Important take away, the days of having your central control or processing device in the "tv room" is slowly being a thing of the past and I am here for it, with the right size cabinet of ventilated cupboard, a COMM CORNER/AREA/SPACE or Room if you possible is the best and most sensible option.

Phase 1 of IP Cam Setup, didn't take a ton of pix, I didn't do the site visit and scope assessment.
In these situations, planning and contingencies get flipped on it's head estimated time of completion goes out the door.

I would say from a professional standpoint to folks who are interested in adding cameras to their homes.
1. If your home has zero ceiling access, has a number of Reno works and additions, WIreless is your option, bounded media carries installation cost up a lot.

2. If your home is 20+ years old, again wireless.

But we are here now and we will deliver.

Tested out the Repair Bag equipment 2 Saturdays ago.

-Cost effective brand, and you feel it in build quality.

-Performance I will hold on to my thoughts as it is 12 Volts impact driver and I acquired for work on heights and small spaces.

- Battery life seems good, but I haven't put it to a full late night project, again it's purpose is for my repair bag, heights and small spaces.

- The USB Charging capability is a win, means I can get a quick charge anywhere without having to tote around a specialized charging bay.

- Thus far l, a decent EDC (Every Day Carry)

Will have more as time goes by, early days still.

Get them young in the game, that old saying 'always have a trade", hits different this time around, "ah trade" carries a heavier weighting than it did in olden days.
