Numerous factors must be taken into consideration before a professional recommendation can be made as per the best foundation type that is applicable to your land. There is no such thing as one foundation for all...There are numerous foundation type which application varies depending on

1. Nature of the land (Flat, elevated or depression)
2. Soil type
3. Drainage
4. Geographical location .
5. Water table content
6. Floorplan layout
7. Load distribution
8. Design and size of the proposed layout
9. Usage of the building
Etc...

Hence one of the reasons for a site visit, assessment and consultation that has a fee $, varying depending on the client's location, before a recommendation can be made as per the foundation type applicable and a ballpark cost to Erect..
