Key in k**b locks has to be installed correctly, if not the door can be locked and still be open, because the latch has two spring loaded bolts . The larger bolt goes into the whole and the smaller bolt stays outside the hole .if both the large bolt and the small bolt fits into the hole, your door locks normal but it's open. Because a simple flat screw driver or butter knife can open lock . Because the small bolt is on the hole .
Deadbolt locks must always have a deep enough hole for the bolt to enter fully . Because if it's too shallow your door seems be locked but if the bolt doesn't go all the way into the hole100% it's not locked . You can check your dead bolt with door open and see if it's not all the way the bolt can be push back to open position. Most of these faults can be compounded if your door has a gap especially around the lock Be safe

Again . Plz have a spare key for you car ,home or business.for those with expensive car keys that needs programming and cannot afford .then get a mechanical key . It will open doors to car but won't start car. If you lost key at least you have access to your car and valuable info in that cut key to help get you a new key at a cheaper price.

Electronic keys for auto should always have a spare key . Lol meaning Two keys. if however you don't have money to duplicate your electronic key .get yourself a mechanical key no chop slot cheaper . Cannot start your car but can open it also if your electronic key is locked in car or if destroyed you have the cuts of the key on your mechanical key

, go on a boat tour , or even go swimming. . These keys are certain to get damaged.
Get a mechanical key , it only opens your car . So now you can lock your electronic key in car and use none electronic/mechanical key to open your car .its alot cheaper than damaging your electronic key. Plz call if needed
