Revit, Archicad veya başka bir araç değişebilir.
Ama veriyi nasıl yapılandırdığımız, sistemleri nasıl kurduğumuz, ekipleri nasıl koordine ettiğimiz ve çıktıyı nasıl yönettiğimiz değişmez.

BIM is not just drawing models… In fact, it is the strongest project management pathway.

There is a widely-used concept today in the construction and architectural industry: BIM.

But most people only think of BIM as “making 3D models.”

In reality, BIM means much more than that.

Imagine a project:

Different disciplines (architecture, static, mechanics) work independently.
And most often, problems arise on-site.

Wall collides with plumbing
Measurements do not coincide in the field
Revisions increase costs
The project is delayed

That’s where BIM comes into play.

With BIM:

✔ Errors can be detected during the design phase
✔ Disciplines work together on the same model
✔ On-site surprises are reduced
✔ Costs and time are controlled

But the critical point is:

👉 BIM is not a drawing software
👉 BIM is a “project management and decision-making system”

For instance:

An intersection caught at the modeling stage
→ can be solved by minor adjustments

But if the same error occurs at the site
→ both waste time and significant cost increase

To summarize, there is a need to comprehend BIM properly.

It is not possible to perceive BIM merely as software but to consider it as a whole system that would enable us to handle projects better.

CO-NEXUS I 2020

Söğütlüçeşme Marmaray İstasyonu karşısında, kuzeydeki Kadıköy Belediyesi binasıyla diyalog halinde, çağdaş bir kütüphane önerildi. Açık ve erişilebilir bir kamu tesisi olarak tasarlanan kütüphane, esnek çalışma alanları, iş birliği bölgeleri ve sessiz okuma alanları ile entegre edildi.

Basılı koleksiyonları dijital kaynaklarla dengeleyen proje, yaşam boyu öğrenmeyi, kültürel alışverişi ve kapsayıcı topluluk kullanımını destekleyerek, kütüphaneyi sadece kitap depolama alanı olmaktan ziyade dinamik bir kamusal merkezi olarak konumlandırmıştır.

Bakırköy Cumhuriyet (Özgürlük) Meydanı ve Yakın Çevresinin Düzenlenmesi Mimari Fikir Projesi Yarışması | 2019

Kesintisiz güçlü görsel ilişkiyle sınırları kendi bağlamında yeniden tanımlanarak, proje belediye ile halk arasındaki ilişkiyi güçlendiriyor. Sürekli bir kabuk çatı yapısıyla entegre edilmiş rekreasyon (oturma, toplanma, dinlenme) alanları ve açık hava sineması meydanı transit bir geçiş alanından ketin içine sızan, toplayan, dağıtan ve aktif bir kentsel buluşma alanına dönüştürüyor.

By redefining boundaries within its own context through a continuous and powerful visual connection, the project strengthens the relationship between the municipality and the public. Recreational areas (seating, gathering, resting) and an open-air cinema square, integrated with a continuous shell roof structure, transform a transit area into an active urban meeting place that infiltrates, gathers, distributes, and integrates into the city.
