A vacation house above Bondi Beach, Australia, designed entirely from used freight containers.
The site sits at the edge between two distinct landscapes — the open Pacific and the curve of Bondi Beach below. Rather than choosing one, the design responds to both. Containers are oriented and stacked so that each function finds its own view: the central living space aligns with the entrance and frames the horizon, while the three guest rooms on both levels face either the ocean or the beach — each with its own direction, its own character.
Circulation, orientation, and vista. Three ideas, one composition.
