Dormitory units shaped as an extension of student life.

Beyond accommodation, the dormitory becomes a layered ground for resting, socializing, and everyday encounters. The open circulation running through the section reinforces spatial permeability — adding architectural rhythm to daily life.

The project masterplan thoughtfully organizes the campus into distinct zones, integrating dormitory units with social, academic, and public spaces, while emphasizing green areas and sustainable water management.

Yurt birimleri, öğrenci yaşamının bir uzantısı olarak şekillendirildi.
Konaklamanın ötesinde, yurt dinlenme, sosyalleşme ve günlük karşılaşmalar için katmanlı bir zemin haline geliyor. Bölüm boyunca açık dolaşım, mekansal geçirgenliği güçlendirerek günlük yaşama mimari bir ritim katıyor.

Proje masterplanı, kampüsü ayrı bölgeler halinde düzenleyerek yurt birimlerini sosyal, akademik ve kamusal alanlarla bütünleştirirken, yeşil alanlara ve sürdürülebilir su yönetimine vurgu yapıyor.

Bornova Transfer Station National Competition (Year: 2017)

Shaped by its visual interaction with the public realm, the façade design defines a porous interface between interior and exterior.

Clad in triangular panels, parametrically designed to become transparent or opaque in response to sunlight, the surface becomes an active agent in the ongoing urban dialogue.

The study, which lays the groundwork for a comprehensive R&D process where different ideas are explored, prioritizes social participation, equality, and transparency principles through scenarios that add cultural diversity to the city.

• Bornova Transfer Merkezi Ulusal Yarışması (Yıl: 2017)

Kamusal alanla kurduğu görsel etkileşim üzerinden şekillenen cephe tasarımı, iç ve dış mekân arasında geçirgen bir arayüz tanımlar.

Üçgen panellerle örülü yüzey, gün ışığına göre parametrik olarak şeffaflaşıp opaklaşacak şekilde tasarlanarak, kentle kurulan diyaloğun aktif bir parçasına dönüşür.

Farklı fikirlerin denendiği, kapsamlı bir Ar-Ge sürecine zemin hazırlayan çalışma, kente kültürel çeşitlilik kazandıran senaryolarla sosyal katılım, eşitlik ve şeffaflık ilkelerini ön planda tutuyor.

The semi-perforated surface softens the line between inside and outside, revealing the building’s social spine. At ground level, permeability turns into a new public threshold — blending green, shade, and openness.

• Işığın izinde şekillenen bir cephe kurgusu.

Yarı geçirgen doku, iç-dış ilişkisini yumuşak bir geçişle kurarken yapının sosyal omurgasını açıkça tanımlıyor. Zemin kotundaki geçirgenlik; yeşil alan, gölge ve kamusal davet arasında yeni bir iletişim sahnesi kuruyor.
