F House, Istanbul. The dressing area within the master bedroom was conceived as a room within a room, creating a sense of intimacy and separation while remaining visually connected to the suite as a whole.

Dark oak runs wall to wall, seamlessly integrating the wardrobes into the architecture itself. Positioned almost like an architectural partition, the cabinetry divides the space without ever fully enclosing it, preserving openness throughout.

F House, Istanbul. A closer look at the master bedroom. The glass and mirror stainless volume at the cente, is functioning almost as a wall, separating the room while maintaining the perception of one continuous space.

Seen from every angle, it reflects the room back onto itself, shifting with the light, blurring the boundary between furniture and architecture.

This week we’re starting a new series: Meet the Team. Getting to know the people behind Wangan through the places they return to, the objects that shape how they think, and the spaces that stay with them. What they eat, what they notice, and what’s worth seeing through their eyes.

We begin with Şule Kurşuncu, one of the first architects to join Wangan, taking us to her ritual café in Vienna where she studied, a hammam that stays with her, and a sofa that rewrites the room it’s in.
