In the permanent modular building project we completed in the Netherlands for Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek ‘t Ambacht B.V., the entire process was managed through an integrated approach, from identifying project requirements and engineering planning to international logistics, on-site assembly, and installation. The building offers a total usable area of 250 m² across two storeys.
One of the key advantages of modular construction, fast and well-planned ex*****on, enabled the project to progress efficiently. Once the modules arrived on site, the assembly and connection works were carried out in a coordinated manner, allowing the building to take shape rapidly as a fully integrated and permanent structure.
Designed for long-term use, the building was developed with structural durability, longevity, energy efficiency, and user comfort as key priorities. With a load-bearing system engineered to established structural standards and appropriate insulation solutions, the result is not only a building that can be delivered efficiently, but also a robust and energy-efficient structure capable of meeting long-term operational needs.
From the transportation of the modules to the project site to the assembly and completion of the two-storey building, the entire process demonstrates how modular construction brings together speed, quality, structural performance, and effective project planning in a single solution.
