The simple, compact massing responds to an exercise in optimizing the thermal envelope, construction, and program, occupying an existing clearing to preserve the tree canopy. The implementation is resolved through a system of platforms that follow the natural grade, reducing earthworks and minimizing site impact. The stepped section allows the roof of the lower house to function as the terrace for the upper one, establishing a direct visual link while maintaining absolute independence.

The volumes are positioned on the site to take full advantage of solar exposure while engaging with the surroundings and the remaining green space. This positioning guides the layout of the program, where the deeper one ventures into the site, the more private and reserved the spaces become.

The composition of the volumes and their openings to the outside provide the interior with controlled natural light and an extension of the indoor space to the outdoors. Their form and materiality aim to embody the typical constructions of this region.

“When the concept of 'Home' goes beyond creating a concrete box to live in, it becomes a journey of understanding the true relationship between architecture and nature.

This rendering captures the essence of Modern Tropical design, softening the rigid lines of modern structure with the warm, gentle rhythm of natural timber screens. The elevated ground floor is intentionally designed to let the tropical breeze flow through freely, aligned with optimal wind directions. Meanwhile, the top floor embraces the sky with expansive glass panels, welcoming abundance of natural light and seamlessly connecting the interior with the surrounding pine trees.

Every square meter has been meticulously thought out—from the logic of its layout to the play of shade and shadow that shifts beautifully throughout the day. Because a great house is one that inspires you every single morning. ”
