A pavilion designed to live beyond the exhibition.
After the ASA Architect Expo, the JORAKAY EXPERT PAVILION was disassembled and its modular components reconfigured into functional furniture, extending the life of the materials beyond their original purpose. The resulting pieces have now been donated to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) by Jorakay Corp. for continued use.
We’re also proud to share that the pavilion received the Silver Award in the “Towards SUStainable ASA Expo” category
recognising our approach to temporary architecture that considers what happens after the event is over.
Designed for assembly, disassembly and reuse, the pavilion was never intended to be the final form of its components. Instead, the same pieces can take on new configurations, functions and lives.
A temporary structure, but not temporary use.
