“A Home Immersed in Green Spaces” The concept envisions a home where the garden takes center stage, with the house seamlessly integrated as a subtle part of the lush surroundings. This approach creates a serene living space where architecture and nature coexist in harmony.Multigenerational Living The design is tailored to meet the needs of a multigenerational family, accommodating members across various age groups. Functionality and inclusivity are key priorities to ensure comfort for everyone. The property is divided into five distinct structures: Main House: The primary residence, serving as the central living space and including bedrooms for family members. Guest Pavilion: A dedicated area for hosting visitors and gatherings. Garage: Designed to provide ample parking and storage space. Kitchen Building: A standalone structure for cooking and food preparation. Studio and Living Quarters: A creative workspace with integrated living facilities. The layout ensures that all structures are visually and spatially connected through shared green spaces. This allows family members to interact naturally while preserving their privacy and personal spaces.Integration of Isan Identity The design incorporates elements inspired by Isan (Northeastern Thai) culture and traditional Thai architecture, reflecting local heritage: Semi-Outdoor Spaces: Verandas and elevated platforms serve as versatile spaces for family activities, while protecting against moisture and animals. Extended Roof Overhangs: Long eaves provide shade, reducing direct sunlight and helping to maintain a cool indoor environment. By blending cultural identity with modern functionality, this home creates a balance between tradition and contemporary needs. The integration of green spaces as the focal point ensures a tranquil and refreshing environment for the family to thrive.
The main concept is to preserve all the existing trees on the site. The land features large teak and pradu (rosewood) trees, which are carefully kept as part of the project. The buildings are designed to avoid disturbing the trees and are spaced apart to allow natural airflow throughout the site.This approach emphasizes:Preserving Nature: Keeping the original trees helps maintain the natural ecosystem and adds shade and beauty to the project.Better Ventilation: Spacing the buildings allows cool, natural air to flow through, reducing heat and energy use.Harmony with Nature: The trees create a peaceful, natural atmosphere for the space.Sustainability: Using what already exists reduces the need for extra landscaping and supports environmentally friendly development. This design blends nature and architecture for a functional and eco-friendly result.
