Facade Studio 7 @ Think Park Chiangmai
การออกแบบผนังอาคาร (Facade) นี้พัฒนาขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด Modern Craft ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากลวดลายงานจักสาน ที่สะท้อนอัตลักษณ์พื้นถิ่นของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยนำมาถ่ายทอดใหม่ให้สอดคล้องกับภาพลักษณ์ของความทันสมัยและเทคโนโลยีของพื้นที่ภายในร้าน
โดยเลือกใช้การซ้อนทับของเส้นสายโค้งที่มีความพลิ้วไหว ผ่านวัสดุแผ่นอะคริลิคที่มีคุณสมบัติเงาและสามารถเล่นกับแสงได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ผสานกับการเว้นระยะระหว่างแผ่น เพื่อให้เกิดการสะท้อนและสร้างลวดลายที่ดูเคลื่อนไหว โดยได้รับอิทธิพลจากกิจกรรมที่มีชีวิตชีวาของถนนนิมมานเหมินทร์ ถ่ายทอดขึ้นสู่ผืน Facade ให้เกิดมิติของแสงและเงาที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปในแต่ละช่วงเวลา
นอกจากนี้ การออกแบบยังคำนึงถึงความสมดุลระหว่างการกรองแสงธรรมชาติในช่วงเวลากลางวัน และการกระจายแสงจากภายในอาคารสู่ภายนอกในช่วงเวลากลางคืน เพื่อสร้างเอกลักษณ์ที่โดดเด่นและทำหน้าที่เป็นจุดสังเกต (Landmark) ของพื้นที่บริเวณใจกลางเมืองเชียงใหม่

This facade design project is developed under the concept of Modern Craft, drawing inspiration from traditional woven patterns that reflect the local identity of Chiang Mai. These elements are reinterpreted to express a contemporary image that aligns with the technological character of the retail space.
The design employs layered, flowing curved lines created through glossy acrylic panels, which interact dynamically with light. The intentional spacing between panels allows for reflections and the formation of patterns that convey a sense of movement, inspired by the vibrant activities along Nimmanhaemin Road. This effect translates onto the facade, producing varying dimensions of light and shadow throughout different times of the day.
Furthermore, the design carefully balances natural daylight filtration during daytime with the diffusion of interior lighting through the facade at night. This approach enhances the building’s visual identity, To create a distinctive identity as a landmark in the middle of Chiang Mai.
