Henryfry, a fried chicken and housemade food restaurant from Talad Noi, opens its first mall branch at Emsphere. The design began by embracing the site’s challenges — a large central column and proximity to the mall’s restroom — turning these limitations into opportunities.

Partitions were introduced to organize the space into three key zones: storage, kitchen and counter, and a new seating area. Continuing the brand’s homey concept, the cream terracotta counter acts as a kitchen island, warmly welcoming customers. Behind it, brown patterned tiles recall the crispy texture of fried chicken skin.

The remaining space in front of the column was turned into a cozy living area with reddish-brown leather seating and walnut tones — a place to wait, rest, and feel at home. Finally, handmade tiles embossed with chicken-leg motifs add a playful, signature detail, capturing the friendly and familiar spirit of Henryfry.

We renovated a one-unit shophouse with a mezzanine into Barney’s, a cold-pressed juice and smoothie café in the heart of Sriracha. The design reflects the brand’s vision — bright, organic, and healthy — creating a welcoming space for all ages.

The ground floor houses the main café with a double-height reception, service counter, seating, and a hidden restroom. A curved wooden countertop on a black-tiled base anchors the space, complemented by warm tones, freestanding furniture, and soft lighting.

The mezzanine serves as a multipurpose area for workshops or meetings, divided by glass blocks that maintain natural light and a homey atmosphere. At the back, the restroom — once a rear balcony — contrasts the rest of the café with red-and-white tiles, wall lighting, and mirrors, bringing a bold yet nostalgic touch that defines Barney’s, the new healthy spot in Sriracha.

Soodsathorn is located at the far end of Sathorn Road. The owner came to us with a clear idea: a restaurant that serves street food and seafood in a warm, laid-back atmosphere.

We renovated a two-story shophouse in a heritage street. To open up more kitchen space, the old staircase was demolished and rebuilt at a new spot. As guests enter, they are greeted by the show kitchen — a stainless-steel frame with counter seating for those who enjoy watching the cooking in action. The kitchen combines orange, white, and gray acrylic with wood and polished steel, echoing the mix of Thai street food culture and the colorful details of local fishing boats.

At the back, a neon sign points toward the new staircase leading upstairs. The stairwell, wrapped in corrugated zinc panels with raw steel steps, contrasts against the preserved wooden floor structure, recalling Bangkok’s street scenes at night.

On the second floor, the dining space feels calm and homey. Cream-colored walls set a warm backdrop, while pendant lamps made from everyday Thai objects — like zinc bowls and food covers — add a touch of nostalgia, as if dining at home.

Soodsathorn was designed to reflect the owner’s vision — a casual mix of street food and seafood. The neon lights, shaped like sea creatures, bring that idea to life. Simple, playful, and glowing just like the streets that inspired us.
