Lighting is felt long before it is noticed.

That was the thread through our Bangkok studio last week, when Cesare Vezzani of LODES joined us. Directors Francesc Domingo and Natalie Chelliah sat in, and the talk turned to lighting that is responsive, sustainable, and crafted to carry emotion.

That thinking runs through our work. Light that immerses, engages, and gives a space its feeling.

Our Managing Director for China Alec Wong, was at IAAPA Expo Asia 2026 in Hong Kong today, reconnecting with familiar faces and forging new ones on the show floor at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As an award-winning design studio specialising in leisure and entertainment spaces across the Asia-Pacific region, events like this keep us close to the industry we love shaping.

300+ exhibitors, industry leaders, and innovators all under one roof, we look forward to the conversations and opportunities that follow.

On World Environment Day, we want to celebrate Sky Innovo Developments and their bold vision for Citystars Park St., a new destination for New Cairo built around sustainability, wellness, and public life.

These are not ideas added at the end. With climate-responsive facades and generous open green space, it is walkable and human in scale, where work and everyday life sit within a landscaped public realm.

Concept i designed the masterplan and architecture, with the landscape led by Morphis, bringing planting, shade, and open spaces across the destination.

We believe destinations like this are shaping what comes next for the city.

At the 5th Hospitality Thailand Conference in Bangkok last week, under the theme "Leading Hospitality Forward: Investing in Design, Driving Results."

One idea ran through every conversation: hotel design is no longer about image, it is about meaning. Brand DNA is spatial. Climate and operations are part of the brief. Craft and place are what endure.

This is where our work is moving forward. Our Director Francesc Domingo held meaningful discussions on the market, what comes next, and the ideas shaping it.

Fresh perspectives, bold ideas, and meaningful design. Our team left ASA Architect Expo 2026 inspired and ready for what’s next.

Guided by the theme “Sati: Wisdom: Prompt,” the expo reflected on how architecture can respond more consciously to rapid change.

“Architecture can balance tradition and advanced technology, while keeping human experience at its core,” shared Hong, architect at Concept i.

“Exploring new material applications and sustainable approaches was especially inspiring,” added Chanamon, intern at Concept i.

From natural material pavilions to smart, sustainable systems, the expo revealed a future where design goes beyond aesthetics, driven by performance and purpose.

This International Design Day, we look beyond form to focus on connection. On the interactions and shared experiences that transform space into a true sense of place.

Through our latest project, we are shaping a new vision of urban living. A fully integrated, walkable destination where residential, hospitality, Grade A offices, and a vibrant retail and dining promenade come together as one seamless ecosystem. It’s within these in-between moments where community takes shape and life unfolds.

Because when we design for connection, people don’t just pass through. They belong.
