Our Bangkok office welcomed 30 colleagues from New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, and Singapore for our Global Resourcing Summit last week. Nick Edwards and Mark Spencer led the event, and Andrew Mailer shared valuable context around our Australia 2030 strategy.
Leaders and practitioners from across the business came together over the two days to align on how we scale global delivery, strengthen relationships, and turn ambition into action. The summit covered a wide range of disciplines and had a particular focus on the growth markets where our capabilities are most in demand like Energy and Water, again closely linked to our Group and Australia strategies. This is the foundation to ensure our resourcing model and ways of working are set up to meet the opportunities ahead. Our focus now in scaling our global resources and refining our processes to capture and deliver the work efficiently and consistently.
A common theme from the speakers was simple and powerful: we succeed when we work as one team, regardless of location. A major outcome was the commitment to grow our civil capability team in Thailand, aligning them with successful Built Form and Resource & Process global delivery models. This team will become a cornerstone of our global delivery approach, serving projects across the region and beyond. Enabling growth in global resourcing and workshare is one of our FY26 strategic initiatives, and it’s also a core pillar of our Asia & International strategy.
We’re already translating the summit outcomes into clear, near-term actions, mobilising talent across borders and investing in the systems that help us scale without friction – and taking practical steps to embed a “One Beca, One Team” approach.
