THE ARCHITECT’S OWN HOME.

This house is different.

Not simply because of its architecture, materials or details, but because it is the personal home of Božo Ćeranić Rozman, architect and founder of BCR.

Located in a residential area of Ljubljana, it is one of BCR’s most personal projects a home designed by the architect for himself and his family.

From the very beginning, there was one additional challenge: time.

The entire house, from construction to the fully furnished interior, was completed in approximately one year — proving that speed does not necessarily require compromise.

Every material and detail was carefully considered. Natural stone, wood, glass, metal and selected pieces by some of the world’s leading interior brands come together with one intention: to create a timeless home that will age beautifully.

The home

Spanning 480 m² of net interior space, the ground floor forms the social heart of the house, with an entrance hall, wardrobe, guest powder room, private office, storage and garage.

At its centre, the kitchen, dining and living areas flow together as one generous open-plan space.

Upstairs is the private master suite — almost an apartment within the home — with a bedroom, private bathroom and sauna, walk-in wardrobe and exercise area.

Three additional bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and a separate utility and laundry area complete the private floor.

Despite its scale, the intention was never simply to create a large house, but a timeless, functional and deeply personal home.

Behind a project like this is always an extraordinary team.

A special thank you to the entire BCR team and to every craftsman, supplier and specialist who helped bring this home to life.

Designed by an architect.
Built as a family home.
Created to last.

Every home we design is a reflection of the people who will live in it.

We believe great architecture is never about following trends or repeating the same ideas. It begins with listening, understanding, and creating a space that feels deeply personal.

Three levels and one big idea.
Ground floor - where evenings happen
Middle floor - where mornings linger
The top - a rooftop that curves and makes this house even more special.

Curved stone volumes meet flat terraces and warm timber details. A residence that feels both grounded and refined. Two design variants. One clear vision.

A backyard that truly has it all.
A cozy lounge for relaxing in the shade, sun loungers for soaking up the sun rays, and a beautiful dining space made for long summer evenings by the pool.

With a home like this… who even needs a vacation?
