Banja Vrućica Spa — 2019

Designed as an extension of the surrounding landscape, Banja Vrućica Spa brings together wellness, water and nature through organic forms, green roofs and terraced outdoor spaces.

The continuous glass façade and warm timber ceiling strengthen the connection between the interior pools and the natural landscape beyond.

We are honoured to announce that Wellness Vodian has received a 2026 International Architecture Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Wellness Vodian continues the transformation of Terme Olimia into a contemporary thermal retreat focused on relaxation and well-being.

Carefully integrated into the sloping terrain between Hotel Breza and the existing parking garage, the new pool complex makes the most of its limited site while creating a natural connection between architecture, landscape, and the existing hotel.

Designed primarily for Hotel Breza guests, the project also introduces a new 25-meter pool for recreational swimming, further expanding the wellness experience of Terme Olimia

Where architecture becomes landscape

Banja Vrućica Spa reimagines the relationship between wellness, water and nature. Rather than treating the new intervention as a separate building, the architecture extends into the landscape through layered terraces, green roofs and flowing organic forms.

A continuous glass façade dissolves the boundary between inside and outside, while the undulating timber ceiling brings warmth and a natural rhythm into the bright, open pool spaces.

The result is a wellness environment shaped not only around water, but around a constant connection to the landscape.

Jezero Residence reinterprets the traditional Gorenjska house through a contemporary architectural language. Located in Bled beneath the Julian Alps, the project transforms a single residential block into two rows of homes arranged around a shared courtyard. Designed to encourage community while offering privacy and security, the development creates a residential environment that is deeply connected to the landscape and character of one of Slovenia's most iconic destinations.
