Intune Music presents an interactive Xinyao S-Pop Workshop specially curated for MOE schools to introduce students to Singapore’s rich Mandarin music heritage through live music, storytelling, lyric writing, and student participation.

Our recent Xinyao S-Pop Workshop at Red Sw****ka School brought students on a musical journey through the history and evolution of Singapore Mandarin music culture. The programme began with an engaging introduction and live sharing session where students learned about the origins of Xinyao, popular Xinyao songs, notable singers and songwriters, and how Xinyao evolved into today’s Singapore Pop music scene.

Through relatable storytelling and live demonstrations, students gained a deeper appreciation of Singapore’s local music identity and cultural heritage.

Day 3 of Estill Voice Training Levels 1 and 2 (Singapore) — Complete!

What an exciting and eye-opening day of learning!

Today’s focus was Estill Voice Training Level 2, where participants explored the fascinating world of Voice Qualities. We dove into Speech, Falsetto, Twang, and Sob, discovering how each quality is created and how it can be used intentionally to achieve different vocal outcomes.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the day was seeing participants deepen their understanding of voice production through hands-on exploration, guided exercises, and collaborative group practice. By listening, experimenting, and learning together, everyone gained valuable insights into how the voice works and how these qualities can be applied in both speaking and singing.

The energy in the room was incredible, with participants supporting one another, sharing discoveries, and building confidence as they developed greater vocal awareness and control.

Day 3 is in the books, and the excitement continues!

Day 4 is tomorrow, and we can't wait to continue this amazing Estill Voice Training journey together!

This Kalimba exploration workshop by Intune Music, with collaboration with Groove, is designed to introduce participants to the joy of playing music in a relaxed, supportive, and engaging environment.

Using the kalimba—a gentle, accessible instrument known for its soothing tones—participants will explore basic playing techniques, rhythm, and simple melodies through guided listening, hands-on practice, and group music-making.

This workshop encourages self-expression, confidence, and creativity, regardless of prior musical experience or ability. Guided by the values of patience, inclusivity, and positive reinforcement, Intune Music offers a safe space where participants can connect with music and experience the simple pleasure of creating kalimba music together!

Day 2 of Estill Voice Training Level 1 and 2 is officially complete!

What an incredible day of learning, discovery, and hands-on exploration! The second day was packed with intensive training, but participants rose to the challenge and gained valuable knowledge about the mechanics of the voice.

One of the highlights was the "Make and Move Larynx" activity, which gave participants a fascinating, interactive look into how the vocal system functions. Seeing the concepts come to life provided fresh insights and a deeper understanding of how the voice really works.

The energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm in the room have been amazing, and we’re excited to build on this momentum.

Bring on Day 3 — we can’t wait to continue the journey!
