Today, we’re sharing something that is much bigger than plants.

It is with a heavy heart that we reach out to our Platycerium community to help raise funds for baby Matthias' medical treatment.

The message from Matthias' dad—a fellow Platycerium hobbyist—came as a complete shock. I still remember congratulating their family on the arrival of their beautiful baby less than a year ago. As a parent myself, I can only imagine the fear, uncertainty, and helplessness they must be experiencing, especially with the overwhelming cost of treatment ahead.

One of the things that makes this community so special is that we look after one another. Today, we hope we can come together once again and support a family that needs us.

The donation link will be shared on our Instagram Story. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings them one step closer to giving baby Matthias the treatment he needs. If you are in a position to help, we would be deeply grateful for your support. If you're unable to donate, sharing this post with your family, friends, and community can make just as much of a difference.

No child should ever be denied the chance to receive life-saving treatment because of financial constraints.

Every mounted piece of Platycerium you see begins long before it is being mounted.

It starts with selecting the right plant, one with good and balanced growth, and the potential to mature beautifully. We then select a piece of cork bark whose shape, texture, and character that will accentuate the look we envisioned. No two combinations are ever the same.

The mounting process is only the beginning. Over the following months, they are nurtured patiently, manicured into shape while the roots strengthen and adapt.

Only when the plant has settled and established do they meet their potential owners.

What you see isn't a freshly prepared plant. It's the result of months of patience, observation, and craftsmanship transforming into what we envisioned.

Because exceptional displays aren't made overnight.

They're grown.

While we are mostly known for our Platycerium, the lesser known fact is that we also provide logistical support. Thanks for the trust and support, we have successfully delivered more than 70 boxes of plants for this SGF.
