Meet Joji House 🐾: where clever upcycling, spatial freedom, and neighborhood watch duty go hand in hand.

By tucking the bathrooms and utilities into a central core, we opened up the entire perimeter for maximum daylight and panoramic views. The result? A barrier-free home for Joji to roam, complete with low-set window perches for his daily patrol duty 🏙️🐶

Resourceful details fill every corner: warm parquet floors made from salvaged bedposts and railings, a kitchen island crafted from felled roadside trees and concrete, and a custom accent lamp cleverly repurposed from a classic HDB eggcrate ceiling grid. Instead of rigid walls, soft curtains flex on demand; concealing wardrobes behind deep blue drapes or opening up to cozy listening nooks.

Part design experiment, part sunny sanctuary, it’s a space made for kicking back and enjoying the view together.

If Embrace was about wrapping its inhabitants, our newest project is about grounding them. Welcome to Anchor. ⚓️

This home is a study in material obsession and tactile heritage. We pushed marble past standard cladding into heavy, monolithic portals that transition onto a zero-waste Palladiana floor of fractured marble offcuts.

To soften this monumental stone, we translated classical European paneling through a tropical lens, using local wood beading and breathable rattan. Finally, we layered in raw, artisanal craft: warm, pillowed limestone floors and the jewel-like luster of glazed Italian porcelain.

A space that feels both boldly architectural and intimately handcrafted.

A retreat shaped by calmness, openness, and quiet luxury.

Within the private domain of the home, the master suite is conceived as a series of seamlessly connected spaces: where the bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, and master bathroom flow effortlessly into one another. Rather than filling the interiors, the design embraces generosity in emptiness, allowing space itself to become the defining experience.

Soft transitions, restrained detailing, and carefully framed views create a sense of stillness throughout the suite. Every corner is accompanied by a window to the outdoors, bringing in light, ventilation, and gentle moments of connection to the surrounding landscape. The result is a sanctuary that feels both intimate and expansive at once.

A celebration of volume, light, and personality.

From the moment of arrival, the home opens into a series of lofty living spaces: where the living, dining, and dry kitchen flow seamlessly beneath generous high ceilings. Materials and detailing are carefully orchestrated to accentuate the verticality of the interiors, creating a calm sense of openness and quiet grandeur.

In contrast to the darker, intimate atmosphere of the basement, this level embraces a lighter palette that reflects and amplifies natural light throughout the home. Along the journey, curated nooks and quiet corners are intentionally carved out to house the owner’s eclectic collection of artworks, allowing moments of character and discovery to emerge within the architecture.

Where daylight meets indulgence.

Conceived as a private retreat for the master of the house, this basement entertainment lounge brings together an open bar, w**e cellar, and home theatre into a single immersive experience. Filtered natural light slips in through skylights and light wells, softening the atmosphere and redefining the typical perception of a basement space.

Wrapped in a palette of darker, moodier materials, the interiors embrace a sense of warmth, intimacy, and quiet sophistication: a contemporary man-cave designed for slow evenings, good conversations, and timeless rituals.

Set within a compact new-build condominium, this home explores how a single open volume can adapt fluidly to multiple modes of living. Through a series of carefully choreographed cabinetry interventions, walls dissolve, doors disappear, and functions reveal themselves only when needed. Rather than fixed rooms, the apartment operates as an on-demand environment that shifts with daily rituals, social gatherings, and moments of retreat, while maintaining a sense of stillness and continuity throughout.

This project draws inspiration from the iconic clay-tiled roofs that define the precinct’s rhythmic identity. This material legacy is reinterpreted through subtle, modern insertions that respect the historic fabric while shaping a renewed architectural language. Along the west-facing façade, terracotta is abstracted into a layered sun-shading device, mitigating heat gain while casting a dynamic play of light and shadow, recalling tradition with contemporary precision.

The space is anchored by quiet contrasts: sculpted concrete seating meets warm plywood shelves that cradle curated pantry goods. These gridded displays are not only functional but also rhythmic by blurring the line between restaurant and living pantry. You can sit with a drink, browse, or simply observe the interplay of texture, light, and shadow.

Designed for pause, for gathering, for shifting with the day’s rhythm, the restaurant isn’t just a place to dine; it’s a space to dwell. It invites you to slow down, tune in, and experience the gentle unfolding of change.
