Servicing and maintaining a clean and choke free outdoor condenser is important for the efficiency and longevity of the aircon system.

A choked outdoor condenser will prevent the exchange of hot and cold air, increase the temperature of the condenser which might cause spoilage of parts and higher electricity bills.

The indoor unit coil has become brittle and is breaking apart even with light contact during servicing. This affects the unit’s heat exchange efficiency and will reduce cooling performance.

Due to the extent of deterioration, repair is not advisable. Recommendation is to replace the indoor fan coil unit.

Is your aircon not feeling cold and blowing warm air? Icing on the copper pipe or ice forming on the coil?

This is very possibily due to shortage of gas and a leakage in the system.

Do a pressure test to confirm the source of the leak and then do the neccessary repair.
