High-End Bio Chamber Filtration Setup

Crafted with careful attention to detail, this bio chamber combines quality biological media with professional-grade filtration equipment to support efficient, consistent and dependable pond water treatment.

The multi-chamber design guides water through a series of dedicated filtration stages. Each chamber has a defined role, helping to remove suspended debris while creating valuable surface area for beneficial bacteria to establish and thrive.

Premium Japanese-style filter brushes, high-density filter mats and selected biological media have been arranged to encourage effective water contact throughout the system. The brushes help capture larger particles, while the layered mats provide finer mechanical filtration and support biological activity.

As the system matures, beneficial bacteria help process ammonia and nitrite, supporting more stable water conditions and a healthier environment for fish.

Robust pipework, valves and circulation connections have been installed to promote even water distribution, provide practical flow control and simplify future inspection, cleaning and maintenance.

Once fully commissioned, the bio chamber is designed to provide:

• Balanced mechanical and biological filtration
• Generous surface area for beneficial bacteria colonisation
• Support for clearer, cleaner pond water
• Improved management of organic waste and suspended particles
• More consistent biological conditions for fish
• Efficient movement of water through multiple filtration stages
• Practical access for servicing and maintenance
• Reliable filtration performance built for long-term use

More than a basic filter chamber, this is a thoughtfully constructed biological filtration system designed around quality materials, dependable components and practical long-term performance.

This sequence ensures that the underwater lighting system is properly prepared and securely installed while preserving the integrity of the completed waterproofing works.

Current progress:

• Waterproofing works – Completed
• Preparation of underwater light points – In progress
• Laying of new underwater light wiring cables – In progress
• Testing of wiring and light connections – To follow
• Final pool finishing works – To follow

The works are progressing systematically to ensure that the pool waterproofing and underwater lighting installation are completed properly before proceeding to the next stage.

Following completion of the swimming pool upgrading works, the grouting stage has now been successfully completed, marking a key milestone towards final handover.

Our team has also commenced initial system commissioning. A total of 250 kg of swimming pool salt (10 × 25 kg bags) was added to establish the correct salinity for the salt chlorination system. The filtration and circulation systems were then operated to ensure full dissolution and even distribution of the salt throughout the pool.

During commissioning, we carried out functional testing of the pool pumps, filtration plant, and associated controls to confirm correct operation. All underwater lighting and electrical controls were also individually tested following the recent rewiring and upgrade works.

With grouting completed, the pool filled, salt dosing completed, and all major mechanical and electrical systems tested, the project has now entered its final commissioning phase ahead of handover.

Rectification of Minor Carpark Water Leakage 💧🔧

Following the detection of minor water seepage at the carpark area, our team traced the likely source to the 2nd-storey drainage channel, 2nd-storey patios, and overflow coping area, where deterioration, small cracks and openings had allowed rainwater to pe*****te through the structure.

To properly address the issue instead of simply patching the visible leakage from below, our team carried out rectification works directly at the suspected source:

• Hacked and removed loose/deteriorated granite and weak surrounding materials to expose the affected areas.
• Thoroughly cleaned and prepared the surfaces for proper bonding.
• Applied chemical grout to pe*****te and seal existing holes, gaps and cracks, reducing possible pathways for water ingress.
• Carried out waterproofing treatment along the drainage channel, coping, 2nd-storey patios, and affected junctions to provide an additional protective barrier against rainwater pe*******on.
• Reinstated and made good the affected areas after completion of the waterproofing treatment.

Water leakage can often travel through very small cracks and emerge at a completely different location below. Therefore, identifying and treating the source of water ingress is an important part of achieving an effective and lasting repair.

Another detailed rectification completed with careful preparation, proper waterproofing and attention to the smallest possible water-entry points. 💪🔧💧

Major Swimming Pool Upgrading & Modernisation Works

A major pool upgrading project is currently in progress, involving extensive removal, reconstruction, and replacement works to enhance the pool’s appearance, functionality, safety, and long-term reliability.

Existing finishes and ageing components are being carefully removed to enable a systematic rebuild and upgrade from the ground up.

The scope of works includes:

• Complete replacement of existing pool tiles with new finishes for a modern appearance.
• Replacement of floor inlets and pool fittings to improve water distribution and circulation.
• Pressure testing of all inlet pipelines prior to completion to verify pipe integrity and identify any potential leakage before installation of new finishes.
• Replacement of existing underwater light cables with new neoprene cables suitable for submerged pool environments.
• Upgrading to modern LED underwater lighting for improved illumination, energy efficiency, and a cleaner aesthetic.
• Rectification and preparation of the existing pool structure and openings prior to installation of new fittings and finishes.
• Coordination of civil, waterproofing, electrical, and M&E works through to final tiling and commissioning.

Given the nature of the works, many critical elements will be concealed beneath the finished surfaces. Pressure testing of pipelines prior to covering is therefore a key quality control step to ensure system integrity before progressing to finishing works.

All stages are executed in a structured sequence, from demolition and preparation through to testing, installation, finishing, and final commissioning.

This is a comprehensive pool upgrade, addressing both visible finishes and underlying systems to ensure long-term performance and quality workmanship throughout.

Rebuilt with care. Tested with confidence. Upgraded with purpose. Finished with pride.
