Client: “The door cannot lock.”

Our brain for absolutely no reason: ⚔️💥😂

Same door problem. Slightly more dramatic interpretation.

Which version wins — anime or dududududu?

What makes a project satisfying?

It’s not only completing the work.

It’s the moment at handover when the homeowner sees the finished space, smiles and says, “Wow… this is my dream home.”

Those reactions — and even a simple “thank you” — are what make the work meaningful.

A fresh coat of paint looks simple when you only see the finished wall.

But a better result starts before the paint goes on — protecting the space, repairing the areas that need attention and preparing the surface properly.

This is the kind of work that can refresh a room without turning it into a full renovation.

Thinking of refreshing part of your home? Send us a few photos and let us know what you’d like to improve.

Seeing leak marks around your water heater?

This unit was showing visible signs of leaking, so the old heater was removed and replaced with a new one.

A straightforward replacement job — plus some oddly satisfying work sounds along the way. 🔧

If you’re noticing something similar at home, send us a photo or short video of the issue.

Sometimes an enquiry comes with photos, measurements and a detailed explanation.

And sometimes… we receive this 😂

A client sent us this entire kitchen walkthrough without telling us what they needed help with.

Since we were trying to figure it out too, let’s make it a game 👀

What do YOU think they wanted us to check?

If feng shui is important to you when planning your home, it is worth considering it before the renovation scope is finalised.

Once plumbing, carpentry and other built-in elements are already in place, changing the layout later may mean extra work and cost.

You don't have to use feng shui when planning a home — but if you do, include it early enough for it to be part of the renovation conversation.

Before a renovation quote can make sense, the scope needs to make sense first.

During this walkthrough, we're going room by room to discuss what stays, what changes and how the space may be reworked — from partitions and the kitchen layout to storage, bathroom works and other details around the home.

It's the planning stage that turns “I want to renovate this place” into an actual list of works that can be quoted.

Save this if you're preparing for your own renovation.
