🇻🇳 INNOEX 2026 | OFFICIALLY INTRODUCING ALTERNŌ E 🌟

Today, on the Transformation Stage at InnoEx2026, we officially introduced Alternō E, an electricity storage system built with battery cells made from salt and inorganic materials.

No lithium.
No cobalt.
No flammable organic solvents.

Alternō E puts safety at the heart of its material choices. It is being developed with a target design life of 30 years, while every key part is designed to be recovered and given another life.

Its specifications and safety will continue to be validated through independent testing and real-world operation. 🌱

A heartfelt thank you to the engineers who have worked quietly behind the scenes over the years, and to the partners whose high standards and honest feedback have helped make our work stronger.

Behind Alternō E is a simple ambition shared by Vietnamese engineers: Make in Vietnam should be more than words printed on the casing. It should be the signature of people prepared to stand behind what they build for 30 years.

Điều gì sẽ xảy ra khi một công nghệ Make in Vietnam có thể góp phần giải bài toán lưu trữ năng lượng – một trong những thách thức lớn nhất của quá trình chuyển đổi xanh toàn cầu?

Sau hơn 12 năm phát triển các sản phẩm công nghệ và khởi nghiệp với Triip, anh Hồ Việt Hải đã lựa chọn một bài toán hoàn toàn mới: lưu trữ năng lượng sạch.
Đồng sáng lập Alternō từ năm 2023, anh cùng đội ngũ phát triển công nghệ "pin cát" – giải pháp lưu trữ nhiệt giúp doanh nghiệp và nông hộ tận dụng năng lượng hiệu quả hơn trong các hoạt động như sấy nông sản và sản xuất công nghiệp, góp phần giảm chi phí năng lượng và cắt giảm phát thải.

Chỉ sau vài năm, Alternō đã nhanh chóng ghi dấu ấn trên bản đồ đổi mới sáng tạo quốc tế với những thành tích nổi bật như Quán quân APAC Greenhouse Accelerator 2024 và Top 2 Startup World Cup 2024, khẳng định tiềm năng của công nghệ Việt trong việc giải quyết những thách thức toàn cầu.

🇻🇳🇦🇺 WHEN THE RIGHT RESOURCES COME TOGETHER

An idea only creates real value when it is connected to the right knowledge, resources, and markets. That is the spirit of Tech Connect 2026: moving beyond one-way technology transfer towards jointly identifying challenges, conducting research, testing ideas, and developing solutions.

By bringing programs, research institutions, funding, businesses, and markets across Vietnam and Australia into a shared collaborative ecosystem, technology can move faster from research to real-world application and create meaningful impact.

Today, Alternō was honoured to participate in the Vietnam - Australia Tech Connect Forum 2026 at the UTS: University of Technology Sydney (UTS). The forum brought together government representatives, universities, research institutions, and businesses from both countries to advance science, technology, innovation, education, and talent development. 🤝

A special highlight was the participation and remarks of Party General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm. His presence reflects the growing importance of science, technology, and innovation in the Vietnam - Australia relationship, while creating further momentum for collaboration between the two countries.

For technology startups like Alternō, this is an opportunity not only to showcase technology, but also to meet the right people to research, refine, and bring solutions into real-world use.

ALTERNŌ’S SAND BATTERY: A JOURNEY OF CLIMATE RESILIENCE IN THE HIMALAYAS ⛰

🇧🇹 Bhutan is widely celebrated as one of the happiest countries in the world and one of the very few nations to maintain a carbon-negative status. Yet, it remains deeply vulnerable to the realities of climate change. Melting glaciers increase the threat of flash floods, while heavy rains, landslides, and water scarcity continue to disrupt the daily lives of mountain communities.

To deploy effectively in Bhutan, Alternō must adapt its technology to the local climate, terrain, and energy demands. While our Sand Battery cannot stop natural disasters, it offers a reliable solution for storing clean energy and supplying heat on demand for practical everyday needs:

🥫 Food processing
🚿 Hot water supply
🏠 Space heating
🏭 Local manufacturing support

♻️ Storing energy as heat allows Bhutan to better harness its renewable electricity, reduce dependence on firewood and fossil fuels, and maintain a steady heat supply during extreme weather or power disruptions.

✈️ Before formalizing a partnership agreement, representatives from Bhutan Trading flew to Vietnam to experience Alternō’s Sand Battery technology firsthand.

🔬 During the visit, our guests explored our manufacturing process and system operations, engaging in deep technical discussions with Alternō engineers regarding product capabilities, deployment conditions, and tailored applications for Bhutan's unique environment.

🤝 Beyond understanding the technology, the meeting opened up practical perspectives on how the Sand Battery can support Bhutan in strengthening climate resilience, empowering local livelihoods, and upholding its carbon-negative commitment.

👣 Every journey begins with a single step. This flight from Bhutan to Vietnam marks the beginning of a shared path where technology is adapted to local needs, and partnerships are built on mutual understanding before stepping into long-term commitments 🚀🌿
