Did you know Singapore has one of the strictest building regulations in the world? From land use planning to structural safety, every rebuild must meet rigorous standards set by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Building and Construction Authority (BCA). These rules ensure not only the safety and quality of homes but also the long-term sustainability of the city-state's urban landscape. Planning a rebuild? Knowledge of these systems is key!
