How do you add more storage without making your home feel smaller?

That was the thinking behind this home.

Instead of filling each room with bulky standalone furniture, the carpentry is built into the spaces where it's needed — from the entrance cabinetry and living area to the window seating, wardrobes and bedroom storage.

Clean lines, a light wood palette and plenty of concealed storage keep the home feeling open, while making everyday space work a little harder.

Sometimes good carpentry isn't about what you notice first.

When space is limited, every corner has to work harder. 🏠

This 2-bedroom condo may be compact, but that doesn’t mean the homeowners have to compromise on storage — or on having a comfortable home to live in.

The key is to make use of the space that’s already there.

Full-height cabinets turn walls into useful storage.
Built-ins make use of awkward corners.
In the bathroom, curved cabinetry provides storage without making the space feel cramped.
And in the kitchen and laundry area, everything has its place without taking away precious walking space.

Good carpentry isn’t about filling a home with more cabinets.

It’s about creating more storage while still leaving you room to live.
