SEA SALT

Sometimes, the smallest ingredient helps bring everything into balance.

Sea salt may only play a supporting role in our Tamarind Lime Cordial, but it has a purpose.

Naturally sourced from seawater, sea salt is primarily sodium chloride and can contain trace amounts of other minerals. Sodium is an important electrolyte involved in normal fluid balance and nerve and muscle function.

But there’s another reason we use it. Just a touch of sea salt helps round out the sharp tanginess of tamarind and kalamansi, softens the edges of sweetness, and brings the different, unforgettable flavours together.

TAMARIND

Tangy. Refreshing. Rooted in tradition.

That unmistakable sweet-and-sour taste has been loved across Asia for generations. But tamarind is much more than an ingredient that gives food and drinks their beautiful tang.

Traditionally, tamarind has been enjoyed as a refreshing ingredient, particularly in warm climates, and has long been associated with digestive comfort. It also naturally provides plant compounds, including antioxidants, along with vitamins and minerals.

At GreenSips, we love tamarind because it represents exactly what we believe in — simple ingredients with deep roots in tradition.

Its bold natural tartness will eventually meet the bright freshness of kalamansi lime… but we'll save that story for another day.

Our GreenSips Lemongrass Ginger Cordial brings together the fresh, citrusy aroma of lemongrass, the distinctive warmth of ginger, and just enough raw cane sugar to balance the blend.

🌿 Lemongrass — traditionally enjoyed for digestive comfort and its naturally refreshing aroma.
🫚 Ginger — cherished for generations for its warming character and traditionally enjoyed after meals. Helps to ease bloatedness and gut discomfort.
🌾 Raw Cane Sugar — less refined than white sugar, with traces of natural molasses that give it a richer more natural flavour.
