Transforming a space takes thoughtful planning — and this project was no exception.

A structural beam ran straight through the room. Instead of hiding the constraint, we leaned into it: dropping the ceiling to conceal the beam, then using colour blocking to turn the shift into a moment of visual clarity.

PROVOLK IS 10!🎉🎉🎉

Hello! Jonathan here. Having practised on my own for 10 years, I thought I did something different here on social media and give a casual introduction and share my story over these last 10 years.

It was definitely not easy, having gone through different partnership paths and eventually settling down on my own again. This 10th year is definitely a kind of reboot, a chance to start afresh, reflect on the practice and chart new paths ahead.

I'm now (more than ever) determined to try out something new on social media. The past 10 years brought many opportunities to learn and to grow. It would be selfish of me to keep it all to myself and to my grave. Hence, what better way to celebrate 10 years of existence than to share my stories in practice and in design as a way of giving back to the community.

Is there something that you would like me to share about? Drop me a comment or DM.

❤️Jonathan
