We find our commissions, challenges and clients among people who search for new expressions and solutions for a better world. During the 1980s and 90s we established ourselves on the European market and we have a passionate engagement in projects spanning from Dublin in the west to Moscow in the east. Cultural differences, the nuances in languages and harsh financial limitations have created a deeper understanding for diversity in the creation of new urban environments. Experiences from abroad influence our Scandinavian projects and our cultural heritage often bring vital knowledge to our foreign partners. We know that there are different realities in different countries, differences in regulations and urban density. However, we do know that there are basic human and social mechanisms and dreams which tie us all together and this insight forms the basis in our design for the future. During the last decade, Tovatt Architects & Planners has won a large number of international competitions in urban design and our ongoing projects comprise schools, residential, commercial and cultural buildings. We build firm and strong relationships with our clients in all our projects and we never settle with less than a personal contribution, aiming at making the world into a better place…
