We have wide-ranging experience of projects in Sweden and abroad with a high level of architectural ambition. Our aim is to be a key player in the field of housing design in Sweden. We don’t necessarily have to be the biggest, but we do want our projects to create a distinct impression on society and the urban environment, and add specific value for clients and users. LONG EXPERIENCE and extensive knowledge within urban and residential planning provides us with the skills to combine high urban density with good housing design. We are good at reading and understanding the city – a prerequisite for creating well-functioning, site-specific and attractive additions to our growing urban environments. OWC Arkitekter has also acquired a high level of expertise in industrialized building systems, with a specific focus on building in wood. Skagershuset in Årsta sums up our belief in sustainable, rational and high-quality housing design which simultaneously safeguards the environment and is economical with natural resources. OWC’S AIM is to provide customers and users with creative architectural ideas and solutions. A consistent and clear analysis of each project’s unique conditions is the driving force in our office. We identify opportunities and potential – preferably beyond the immediate range of architecture. Each individual commission must meet our clients’ particular conditions and expectations. The result is beautiful buildings that are solidly anchored both contextually and in terms of function. We call it relevant architecture.
