Large-scale Timber Frame residential development
Prefabricated in Romania
Currently under assembly in France

Village Seniors 2 is entering one of its final construction phases.
The 17 individual homes are now completed, while work continues on Building B, the second major residential component of the development, comprising 13 apartments.

At this stage, the teams are working on the roof structure and exterior joinery, bringing the project another step closer to completion.
With 30 residential units developed across multiple building types, Village Seniors 2 is a strong example of what large-scale timber construction requires: coordinated production, phased delivery, logistics, assembly and control across the entire construction process.

ERGIO scope:
🏗️ Timber structure
🧱 Prefabricated wall panels
🏠 Roof structure
🪟 Exterior joinery
📦 Materials package
🚛 International delivery
🔧 Assembly / assembly support

Projects of this scale are not built as isolated houses. They are delivered as a coordinated construction system, where factory production, transport and site ex*****on must move in sequence.

In just a few months, Village Seniors 2 will be ready to welcome its residents, giving seniors their own independent homes within a community designed around proximity and shared living.

𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | A connected process

👀 What does a project look like once it enters the ERGIO production flow?

Lots of coordination, lots of moving parts, and one clear goal: turning approved projecttation into components and kits ready for efficient on-site assembly documen.
That’s the advantage of industrialised timber construction: more work solved in the factory, more control before anything reaches the site.

Spain is not one of our newest markets.
It'is one of our longest-standing relationships. 🇪🇸

For decades, ERGIO has been working alongside partners in Spain, contributing to residential projects through timber engineering, industrial prefabrication and international delivery.

Over the years, this collaboration has taken different forms, from Timber Frame systems to Log House structures, always with the same objective: turning technical documentation into precise, factory-made timber components ready for construction.

Today, on Spain’s National Day, we celebrate more than a market.

We celebrate long-term partnerships, shared experience and the trust built project after project.

Feliz Día de España. 🇪🇸

Timber Frame & Post-and-Beam projects
Prefabricated in Romania
Technical support on site in the Netherlands

This week, our engineer Larisa visited several ERGIO projects currently under construction in the Netherlands, as well as one completed project.

The Netherlands is an important market for ERGIO, where several Timber Frame and Post-and-Beam projects are currently progressing in parallel.

For us, delivering a prefabricated timber structure is not the end of the process. Our engineering team periodically visits the construction sites to follow the progress, provide technical support to the assembly teams and verify how our solutions perform in real construction conditions.

These visits also bring valuable feedback back to our engineering and production teams in Romania, helping us continuously improve our systems, details and processes from one project to the next.

From engineering and prefabrication to delivery and on-site technical support, we stay connected to the project throughout its construction.

Fun fact: all the photos in this post were taken by Larisa during her site visits. 📸

𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪-𝗛𝗢𝗪 | What makes a timber project production-ready?

A project can look complete on paper and still not be ready for production.
Before manufacturing starts, every key detail has to be clear: dimensions, openings, structural build-ups, connections and component information. 📐

That is the point where design becomes manufacturing data.
At ERGIO, we translate project documentation into information that can actually be used in the factory, from panel layouts and timber components to CNC-ready production details. ⚙️

Because efficient prefabrication does not start with cutting timber.
It starts with the right information. ✅

Timber Frame residential project
Prefabricated in Romania 🇷🇴
Completed in the Netherlands

Different markets come with different requirements. Industrial production has to adapt without losing consistency.
This residential project is another example of ERGIO’s experience working for the Dutch market, where each project arrives with its own technical specifications, construction details and performance requirements.

For this house, the external walls are built around a 45 × 195 mm Timber Frame structure, combined with two layers of basalt mineral wool insulation, a vapour control membrane, OSB, a highly breathable membrane and plasterboard.
The internal load-bearing walls use a 45 × 145 mm timber structure, completed with acoustic basalt mineral wool, OSB and plasterboard.

For us, international experience is not simply about delivering to another country. It is about understanding the project requirements behind that market and translating them into a controlled, production-ready system.

One factory. Different European markets.

𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗧 𝗕𝗬 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 | Better systems start with the people behind them.

Industrial improvement doesn’t stop at the factory floor.
At ERGIO, the way we manufacture is constantly evolving, but so is the way our teams plan, calculate and make decisions before production begins.

Behind every timber structure is a continuous flow of information: material quantities, technical specifications, production data, costs, logistics and project requirements.
And behind that information are people connecting the pieces.

Our engineering and marketing teams are currently working together to develop and improve the internal tools that help organise this information more clearly and efficiently. 📊🖥️

The goal is practical:
• more accurate material planning
• better cost control
• clearer project data
• faster access to the information our teams need
• fewer variables left to chance before production starts

Because industrialisation is not only about CNC machines, robotics or production capacity.
It is also about the people who build the processes behind them. ⚙️

Different departments. Different perspectives. One objective: making every stage of the project more connected, precise and predictable.
Technology evolves. Processes evolve. And the people behind them keep improving both.
