Triad Studio has three core values: experimentation, differentiation and individualism. Experimentation

We believe that doing is the should be the main focus of planning out designs. If something is done but not planned, that will heavily hinder the product's quality. If something is planned but not done on time, the planning will prove worthless. Moreover, we believe in intuition as a guide for

every design plan. As such, experimentation plays a huge part in understanding if something works or not, and even more useful, why. You never know exactly how something's going to look like until you actually get to look at it. Another way we understand experimentation is experimentation as a visual trend. Experimental artworks were always interesting to us because of the way visual perception and understanding are challenged within them

Differentiation

Anything can become unique, because anything can have or attain, characteristics or values that distinguish it, we believe this is true for people, artists, products, businesses, groups or any kind of entity. The reason why many advocate for this value is because it's an easy and effective target in today's branding context. The reason so very few apply it to their methods and business practices, is because it's actually very hard to do so. We at Triad Studio hold the belief that a group's values shouldn't just be declared, they should be an active, meaningful and obvious part of how that group conducts it's business, and that is what we aim to do with all our values, especially differentiation. When all is said and done, design still is and always will be, in our view, a personal matter. To diminish a individual's input in his or her artwork, means to take away from the artwork's personality, its attitude, and in some cases its very core. Triad Studio was created to prove that individualized artworks not only work for businesses, but work better. Emotion and connection can not be created where the designer had little to nothing invested in the artwork. This is why individualism is very important to us

When all is said and done, design still is and always will be, in our view, a personal matter. This is why individualism is very important to us

Triad represents it's founders but more than that, it represents these three values, that are the main reason as to why the studio exists in the first place.

I know what you're thinking, "Why would you ever want to overprint black in Photoshop? Isn't that an issue for page layout or illustration software?" Well, yes, but lots of designers — even the developers themselves — are blurring the lines between what you're supposed to do in which program.

I'm trying to figure out if this does more harm than good for beginners. But in the end I think it's a nice little PDF, ...
